This winter, The EVE introduces Art House — a seasonal cultural program transforming the hotel into a living gallery experience where Australian art, design and hospitality come together.
Developed in partnership with Arts-Matter, Art House builds on The EVE’s longstanding connection to creativity, craftsmanship and considered design, inviting guests and visitors alike to engage more deeply with the spaces and stories unfolding throughout the hotel.
Launching with inaugural Art House Artist Louise Olsen, the season expands on her existing connection to The EVE, where her works can already be seen through the Barrisol ceiling artwork Still Life, suspended above Bar Julius, and the large-scale Tibetan wool and silk tapestry Dream Garden woven throughout the hotel cloisters.
Now, new works courtesy of Olsen Gallery have been installed throughout Bar Julius and the hotel lobby, alongside sculptural pieces from Dinosaur Designs. Together, the collection creates new moments of discovery throughout the hotel — blurring the lines between gallery, object and hospitality experience.
Known for exploring the relationship between nature, atmosphere and organic form, Olsen’s works sit naturally within The EVE’s material palette and architectural language, adding a new cultural layer to the guest experience throughout the season.
Art House will continue unfolding across winter with further creative collaborations, conversations and cultural moments still to come.
For those looking to immerse themselves further in the season, The EVE has also launched the exclusive Art House Stay package — a curated overnight experience celebrating art, design and hospitality, including a $100 dining credit across The EVE’s dining venues and a collectible Dinosaur Designs gift inspired by the hotel.
Art House runs throughout The EVE Hotel from May – September 2026.
